- The OPT Swage Press, a heavy-duty machine for hydraulic swaging of wires. Designed to apply immense pressure, it ensures tight and secure connections between cables and fittings. It can be used with a Hydraulic Air Foot Pump or a portable hand pump, and is compatible with all our Hydraulic Wire Kits.
- Our swaging dies are specifically designed for use with the OPT Hydraulic Swage Press. These hardened hex dies professionally swage our hydraulic fittings and are available in various sizes.
- To operate the swage press, place the wire to be swaged into the swage tool, position the tool over the wire, and activate the pump using the foot pedal. The hydraulic pressure generated by the BVA Foot Pump drives the swage tool, compressing the wire to the desired form. This foot-controlled process allows for quick repetition, freeing your hands to operate the swage tool efficiently.
- The swage press is equipped with a pressure gauge and an adjustable pressure regulator. The pressure gauge measures the hydraulic pressure, ensuring accuracy and consistency in the swage process. The regulator controls and reduces the pressure to the desired level, preventing damage to the machine or wire and ensuring operator safety.
- For on-site hydraulic swaging of fittings, we offer the OPT Hydraulic Hand Pump. This pump, suitable for a 30-tonne press, provides a maximum pressure of 700kg/cm2. It has a 700cc reservoir capacity, 2-speed down function, and weighs 8kg. It is designed to be used in conjunction with OPT Swage Presses.
